Hi ryrod88

try my tutorial tell me if your computer still freezes

create a box like a wall put a sphere 3 inches above the wall go to the create panel go to the spacewarps click on gravity drag that out in the top view make sure the gravity square cover the whole box. Now go to the utilities panel click on more and then on dynamics click ok click on new to create a new set click on the edit object list click on the box and sphere and then click the right facing arrow then click ok select the box. Go to edit object make sure the box is select in the drop-down menu put a check in unyelding this is going to cause the box not to be subjected to gravity so the box will not fall now click ok put a dot in the global effects click on assign in there select the gravity and move that to the right. global collisions put a dot in there now click assign collisions put the box and sphere on the right again then click ok. put a check in update w/solve then click sovle you will see keys come up in the time slider and then you'll see the ball bouncing on the box. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oZOLg-aJes

If so you may have to many things running in  your background!
