Our client's Scripter fulfills a hybrid role: you will be part Artist, Graphic Designer, Game Designer, and Programmer, with an emphasis on programming. As the ultimate problem solver, you will have the opportunity to crunch textures, write codes, build in 3DS Max, think up great ways of doing effects, figure out why the game is crashing, etc. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, with the ideal candidate passionate about games and striving to make the games more compelling and fun. Using your excellent knowledge of the development process from concept to final product completion, stretch your creative muscles in producing highly imaginative titles! Create exciting and entertaining ideas and work with some of the most experienced artists and programmers in the field!

What You Will Be doing:
•         Designing, creating, and coding multiple systems such as:
    o        Front end and menu systems
    o        HUD Elements
    o        Goals and objectives
    o        NPC interactions
    o        Scripted events (cutscenes, etc.)
    o        Game modes and architecture

What You Will Be Bringing:
•         Experience with high level scripting languages (Java Script, LUA, Python); experience with proprietary game scripting systems a plus
•         3ds Max experience
•         Photoshop
•         C++ experience
•         Graphic design experience
•         Must be comfortable working with programmer tools (command-line operations, Visual Studio) as well as custom applications

Location/Relocation:
This is a 7-8 month contract position located in San Francisco, CA. Relocation assistance WILL NOT be provided for candidates located within the United States
