I'm 99.99% sure you can't export particles. You can't even export set smooth (to .3ds at least). Your textures will go away as well - the paths will still be there, and you can pack the textures in the same zip, but the purchaser has to reassign them. It looks like you may have procedural textures. They will, of course, go away as well. It's a bit annoying, but programs are so different there is not much that can be done.

Very nice second model by the way.

I really like the Helmet it reminds me of a roman soldier or Spartan.

Hey, nice job on the particles, even though you're having trouble exporting them.

You can convert particles to mesh (in Blender 2.46)
Select your emitter of particles
Press F9 and under Modifiers tab you will have a button with something like "Particle System 1"
Press the button "Convert" and you have your mesh

Nice work on the particle hair, i can never seem to get the settings right to make good hairs.

I have a question that is kinda related to this topic. I was wondering  if anyone knows how well blender exports models to other formats(like .3ds and .Obj), I have 2 models for sale and plan to add more in the future but to increase my chances of making a sale i'd like to offer my models in multiple formats. however i do not have the other programs to test the exported models.

Any input would be appreciated.
