Max import for gmax?

is there a plugin or way to import max to gmax?? Is it possible or at least a free max viewer and convertor???

save/export 3dmax into *.3ds
import *.3ds into gmax

what if you don't have 3ds max?

Then ask someone here in the forum to take your file and export it to a GMAX compatible format. Do not expect to have everything from that 3dmax file to be transfered to GMAX. Not all 3d max are compatible/used in GMAX.

Hello,

If you are offering, I only have gmax and would like Product ID:383778, a 3d wire earth in .3ds format so that i can import it into gmax.

If you are able to do this for me, it would be greatly appreciated!

BL, you want us to save a product on Turbosquid to be into another format ?

The answer is NO. The products on Turbosquid are to be sold (unless the creator says it is free, then simply send an email to the creator and ask him.). For us or anyone to go get a product to give it to anyone is illegal.

If a product on Turbosquid has a price, then the only way to get it is to buy it.

Browser Ice - I guess I should have mentioned initially that the file I had asked to convert is free. I certainly wouldn't have asked if it was a pay file. I will send the initial creator an email (if I can figure out how) and ask them to convert the file for me.
