Dear sir,
I wonder if you can help me, I am a newby (novice) and I am having problems to loading files from my harddisk into Gmax.1.2     I am working on a space scene and I am not sure how to proceed to load a file in to my project.
Wich file extensions are supported in gmax? I like to download some 3d models (spaceship) to insert into my project, but it keep telling me that it  they are not suported, or unknown extension.
Hope you can help me out...  Thanks in advance.

What is the model file extension?

There are a few converters out there, but import and export formats can be quite an undertaking at times.

If you can get an old free version of 3d Explorer it handles some conversions pretty well.
