landing doors

Ok, so after getting some importing and texturing issues out of the way, ive run into another setback.

My front landing gear has 2 small doors that operate independantly of the gear, they lay opposite eachother and open down, allowing the wheels to exit the feusalage. the rest of the gear has a door permanently mounted. Anyhow, ive animated, re animated, linked, etc, and i cant figure out how the heck to animate the landing gear doors to work independantly.  either they dont move at all, or when  linked to the main peice, they follow the gears path, and stay in the closed position. is there some recognized name for landing gear doors, or what?

Please forgive me if the question sounds stupid, but ive searched everywhere i could posibly think of, and havnt had any kind of luck.

What landing gear doors?  They're just independently animated landing gear parts!

For example ... your main animated center gear is probably c_gear.  You've animated from key frame 0 (fully closed) to 100 (extended).

Your  nosewheel doors can be named c_gear_01 and c_gear_02.

Now, your full animation sequence would be, for example, Key frames 0-25, your gear doors open (c_gear_01 and c_gear_02, each independently animated) and stay open, while from 25-100 your main nose gear (c_gear) extends.

well i got the gear setup-well sort of .... but it seems to jump around a bit..

 

Edit- Nevermind, i animated it poorly, all fixed
