LW & Sasquatch
Posted 19-Jun-2007 11:47 AM

Hello people,

I've had some problems rendering a model with Sasquatch. I've used a solution finded in a forum. The Sasquatch problem stopped, but it generated morph problems.

For the morphs I need a Subdivision Order = Last, but the solution for the correct render of Sasquatch says that the Subdivision Order must be = First.

Another problem with Sasquatch: The number of surfaces or parts does not appear. It's always 0/0.

Will be wellcome any solution to this issue...

Thanks in advance,

Sergio

Sas is NOT a poly maker... it's a post render type plugin filter thingy more than anything.  You do need to make guides for it, but it does not create polygonal hair.  It uses the guides to guide the plugin in seeing where in the render hair needs to be put and in what direction...

Sasquatch sucks... bought a full license a couple of years ago but almost never use it since the software is to complicated learning when youre in project phases for customers. Dissapointed? Yes!

Kurv Studios has a pretty decent dvd tutorial on saslite.  It helped me quite a bit.  It's more or less just fiddling with it til it looks right...
