node envelopes?
Posted 16-Jun-2007 4:15 PM

Hello,

Any one knows how can I make an envelope for a node?
I mean, I want to reduce the color and bump maps of a mesh in a few frames.

Thanks in advance.

I haven't really made much use of them, but if you select Standard, from Add Node/Materials/Standard menu, and put this between all your individual nodes & the Surface node, then double clicking on its Material output gives you direct access to all envelope functions for each input node as if it were a standard material.

All the others node have envelope [E] buttons on their outputs too, if you double click on them.

Thanks again mkiii. Let me do some tests...

By the way, are you working as a 3D animator?

Cheers
