How to export from GMAX ?

Hi, I've just completed a simplex static object to be located beside the track in GMAX, how do I export it to MSTS .s file ? I can't find any export option in the menus.

Can anyone help ?

Hello ash,
You have to have the MSTS gamepack installed.
The best beginners tut I've ever seen is at vmbollig
Part 6 is the section you're looking for, but going through the whole tut explains a lot. (and is fun, too)

hi, yes, I do have the MSTS gamepack install and I've read vmbolli'g tutorial. It is indeed the best. But the problem I have is finding the Export option. I can see the Import option under the File menu but I don't see any Export. have you seen it ?

Hi ash,
Even the good ones can confuse.
You're looking at the wrong "File" menue. This should help......skoville

hi, thanks for the tip, managed to find the export option in the LOD menu. now that I've managed to the object exported, how do I see it in MSTS Route Editor so that I can place my custom object as part of the scenery ? Btw, its just a simple traffic light
