Space carrier model

This is something I was working on a while ago just before I started the battlestar galactica model in the other thread.  It is supposed to be a ship which functions as an aircraft carrier.  It has hangar doors on the front, back, and big ones across the dorsal surface to deploy fighters quickly.  This was modeled in Gmax and rendered with yafray.  The polygon count is somewhere around 50,000 at this point (I've made more progress since).
By the way the sensor bar and geodesic sensor dome on the bridge tower are from JarJar Thomas' Interdictor star destroyer model on scifi3d.com because they look awesome.

Here is another view of the dorsal tower from inside the hangar bay.  I forgot to mention that the ship is supposed to be around 1400 meters in length.

That's a good model, but it could probably benefit from being less rectangular.

I kind of meant it to be rectangular to give me more surface area to make the hangar.  I dont know if you can tell from the pictures but there are individual hangars inside of the main one going off to the sides.

Now if you just added it on to a larger model with a more distinctive shape; it would really be impressive. Nice work by the way.

Cheers
