Showcase Your Work at SIGGRAPH

Turbo Squid invites you to include your work in a demo reel that we will be showing at our Siggraph booth (August 6th-9th). This demo video will be shown on a 50-inch plasma in our booth throughout the conference as a visual aid; it will demonstrate, for those who have not worked with Turbo Squid in the past, just how valuable a service we can provide for those who work in the graphics community.

If you are interested in having your work displayed (and attributed) for the approximately 25,000 graphics professionals who will be attending Siggraph 34, please submit your work under the following conditions:

·         Must be your own work.

·         At least one model contained in the work must have come from Turbo Squid or the work must demonstrate high-level use of one of our Autodesk Certified Animation Plug-ins.

·         We need a small written explanation of what was used from Turbo Squid and how. For example, how the FumeFX plug in was used to simulate the explosion surrounding the MiG-29A that you purchased from TS.

·         Still images should be at least 1024x768, 24 or 32-bit PNG files.

·         Videos must be 720x486 AVI or Quicktime .MOV files. Interlaced / non-interlaced is fine.

·         You must give written consent for the use (with the understanding that your work will not be resold, reformatted, or reused in any way other than described above). Additionally, we need to know how you want the work credited as we will be adding overlays for all of the animated clips and stills provided.

·         Most importantly it has to be high level work.  Please don't flood us with every small project that you have worked on over the last 2 years, we are looking for current, exciting, and professional quality work.

Follow these steps to submit your work to our Siggraph 07 FTP server:

·         Open Internet Explorer (Must be I.E.)

·         Follow this link:   ftp.turbosquid.com

·         Go to the file drop down and sign in with User name: siggraph07 and password: squidme

·         Drag and drop a zip of your work.

        1.      Zip must also include a short description of the work and how you would like to be credited and the legal consent form.

We need all files in hand by 6/15/2007. As for a time limit on video files, we will have to see what we need as we start to compile the demo reel.  I'm sure you have seen trade show demo reels in the past, and you know that the key element is to capture someones attention.  Thus, the longest single topic clips are usually 4-8 seconds of footage.  that said, if you don't submit it, we can't use it....

You can use free TS models, but keep in mind the high level of audience that will attend SIGGRAPH. Most of them work in the industry and know the difference.....

Sorry, we are on to the editing stage at this point.  We will try to do something similar next year.....and maybe even give a little more notice to the artists (hint hint).

HELLRAISER LEMONT BOX

Just search hellraiser in products.

Lemont box from the movie hellraiser, in the movie this box when touched in just the right places begins to transform into a sort of stage 2 shape and might I add this box is fully animated and will change into the other shape just like in the movie. As well as when the box opens light will stream out into the heavens again many hard hours of work enjoy.
