Make your 3D image in to figurines

If I figure out how to create replicas of some of these cool things ITRL (in the real world), would anyone be interested? They would have to be small models (6 to 12 inches).  I need your feedback to see  if there is interest.

lol :) This is the site deducated to 3d modelling. It's mean quite the reverse, we make digital replicas from real things, this is our main advantage as 3d artists. Usual we find good looking things from the real world, like cars, weapons, buildings etc. and turn them into digital and then sell, if people like them. If you turn 3d back to real, what sense in this? Do you mean paper or plastic models?

I'm sure some folks would be interested, but you'd likely get better response in the General 3D forum rather than the Forums Feature Request forum :)

Also... it would depend on the price... Maybe indicate sample models and the 3D versions with approximate prices...

Dear Sir;

    If you want to produce replicas from 3D models you have to solicit an authorization from the modeler, and fix the geometry to make it suitable for Rapid Prototyping. Most models in TurboSquid are created for CGI not production, thus contain gaps, Intersecting geometry, inaccuracies and other defects that void them for production.

  For small models polygonal models are fine, as long as they are well tessellated and "watertight", for larger parts the topology must be NURBS based to assure smooth surfaces will come out smooth.

Best Regards,
