Turbo Squid and Kaydara Announce New FBX Community for 3D Digital Assets

A new Kaydara FBX Community has been added to Turbo Squid’s quickly growing Web site. With over 700 active FBX models, scenes, and motion capture files, Turbo Squid’s site is an invaluable worldwide resource for 3D artists in search of 3D content and motion capture data in Kaydara’s powerful FBX file format. The new Kaydara FBX community will allow users to search by model type, artist, or keyword while staying within the FBX community. Those links don't work and I tried a search on TS for "fbx".

It's really too bad that Motionbuilder was bought out by the monopoly known as Discreet. Kaydara was more focused on the little studios and freelancers out there before their demise. Would be awesome if Discreet would release some freelancer editions or freebie fbx downloads on TS like Kaydara did, but I guess that's just fanciful wishing. They bought out Maya and Motionbuilder, and plan on keeping them locked away for the rich studios like they have successfully done with Max for years...
