Yes,

There's a bunch of products that claim to do just that, but in reality, not a single one of them does a very good job IMHO.

Use the search function and you'll find some topics covering this same question of yours.

Hope it helps.

Rodrigo.

There's no PZ3 export option from Max. You gotta use the .obj extension, those import just fine into poser.

I've actually imported a Poser 6 model (Victoria 3) into Max 8 to create clothing. There is a fairly good tutorial by Markdc on how to do this. The long and the short of import/export is: first export the model from Poser into a .obj - keep names intact. You'll need them. When you do the import of the .obj file into Max, you need to scale up your model 100, as Poser uses a very small model. When you have finished your model, you simply save it to an Wavefront .obj file (without resizing) and then do the resize back down in ObjAction Scaler, a freeware program. Just Google for ObjAction Scaler - it works a treat.

Cheers, Robyn

Using HABWare's OBJ import/export plugin for Max, one can set the parameters for vertex scaling directly within the import process and so in most cases can directly import the original .OBJ directly from the Poser Geometry folder without having to rescale it with Objaction first... Although I definitely recommend keeping Maz's scaler onhand for those times when you are cross-translating through a series of programs. The HABWare plugin for Max6 works just fine in Max8 and is also provided at no cost from its developer...
