Try google search or something. The internet is a great place. If you are skinning models or characters there are PLENTEY of tutorials out there.

Good luck!

What version of PS? where is your manual that came with PS and if it is a later version of PS; where is your Total Training Video CD?

If you are asking for tutorials for PS, then you must have a second hand copy?

Also, if you own your copy of PS, then you should have access to Adobes' on-line Resource center.

Yes I own a copy of photoshop cs and photoshop cs2. I also own  the user guide and the total trainning cd for both software but I never new that ther was a adobe thing to ask questions (i didn't instal both ps cs and ps cs2. photoshop cs and cs2  are at my dad so he instaled them on his pc, so now I can't install it on my pc)(that is wy the cearal key is there so we don't put it on tthe internet), Anyways there are like no tutorials for how to skin my 3d models in the user guide and the total trainning cd (that is why I came here)and how do you wan't to like get photoshop iligale it's like imposible with the cereal key that works only with your copy of photoshop.(I now lots beacuse, I try to surche the web for seing if the software is good(I beder be good for 645$ or sumthing) before i buy it and my version of photoshop cs expired, or sumthing, on my pc but worked on my dad's pc were it was originalie installed. OK.. welll for the post obove the guy really didn't help (sorry) but you just frustrated me more and the first post was really helpfull thanks(I found a cople of tutrials (FOR SKINNING) on google. OH and before I forget the post obove you should also read your photoshop user guide.

PS allows for a second user, I believe. Who is also allowed to access the adobe content and forums. Of course forums can be a great place to get help.

Just like the graphics dept where I work; once you buy a single copy the whole team should be able to access adobe resources, with one serial number. enough of that. What you really need is someone to answer your question. frankly, I have never skinned a model with UVW wrapping. I use PS to make flat panels or tileable seamless textures for objects mainly and not for lifeforms. The good thing is I can ask them at work and get back to you in 48 hours with something. I am off work today.

I am working with a program right now called UV Mapper Classic by Stephen L. Cox Copyright ©2005 It is a FREE UV mapper!

Also trying to figure out Blender2.40 which is also FREE!

Hello

If you're a Max user, you may try to read the help section on Render to texture.

This tool will automaticly unwrap your model and render a single image with your "planified" model. From there, you may take it to PS and play on top of it.

Cheers

You could also use a program called wings3d, it has an excellent 3d mapping system. It works better than UV mapper classic because you can seperate your UVs on an actual 3d mesh then unwrap it and move it where you want it. AND ITS FREE

Bodonga Solina: That is basically what I am doing with Bryce5.5; making and manipulating the textures, adding light gels, noise and various filters(billions of possibles) then I can manipulate it further in PS and use it in any CG program.
