Not much to choose from for Hash's Animaion: Master, huh?

So... what file formats might be acceptable? Is there a way to use other file formats, perhaps from 3DS or Maya?

Well right you are! And a good format that A.M. can convert  (file>plug-ins>export) to is .3ds

All my models are done that way. I also use a freeware conversion application called PoseRay to convert them to .obj as well.

Hope to see some of your work!

Wait... I'm sorry, I'm confused....

So, A:M can convert TO 3ds, but not the other way around?

And .obj files? Are those compatible with A:M?

You CAN import into A.M.!

.mdl   .lit   ..seg   .dxf   .3ds   .ply   .av2

Now, I am not sure what version you have, and what conversion plug-in's you have,

mine is old... v10.5 and I can do quite a bit with it.

.obj is not compatable.... but after you convert your .prg (native A.M. file)

to .3ds, then take the .3ds and convert IT to .obj using PoseRay

Sad to say, that is EXPORT only.... There is no way (that I know of) to IMPORT .obj into A.M.

Hmmmm....

Just downloaded a FREE .3ds file to test......

No luck. Wouldn't open.

Plug-ins, you say? I think I need 'em.

Running A:M ver. 12.0

Just found out PoseRay is PC only?

There should be (somewhere online) a few more open source free applications that do file conversion, that are compatable with Mac. (keeping ones fingers crossed).....
