As of October 6, 2005, Autodesk will no longer offer Gmax® software as a stand-alone product. Sadly, this seams like an official statement about GMAX being cancelled but there is only one part of that news which is a bit odd. The "as a stand-alone product" part makes me wonder. Do they mean that GMAX is still available through some other package or form ?

I will get to the bottom of this and get back to you guys. We, the moderators, were not informed of this.

So in the mean time, DO NOT SPREAD PANIC ABOUT THIS UNTIL I HAVE CLEARED THIS OUT !
