Render your animations,free

Now, you can finally render your animations for free! You can render animations in .avi form (windows media player) for free. This program is called "hypercam 2". You can select a portion of your screen, and "record" it. It records any movement inside the box including mouse movement. You can also select the amount of Frames Per Second you want to use. And the best thing is that its free! The only problem is, is that there is a small "watermark" in the top left corner (illustrated on picture below) Here is the link: http://www.hyperionics.com/hc/index.asp

After searching the internet, I have found that I prefer CamStudio or Robodemo better, if you have problems downloading CamStudio then just stick with hypercam2. You can download Camstudio by clicking HERE.

Please post your experiences with this product, and confirmation there is NO virus, so others want be afraid. :)

The below image I just print screen and edited the "name hidden" and the "unregistered hypercam 2" is the "watermark I was talking about.

Here is link to a free preview of me creating a box :P http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/276203

I was searching the internet and I found even a BETTER screen capturer. It does not have a watermark and it can be downloaded here: Here (www.rendersoftware.com/products/camstudio)

If this one is too complicated, (which it shouldn't be) then stick with hypercam. I think you will enjoy this one better. :)

Great forum information, but why waste TS space, with a 1.3mb product showcase, for this free application? Also, with an unhealthy dose of  thread bumping?

Vthokie4me: Okay the bumping was old news and I shouldn't have said anything, but I just looked at some of your products.

I took your free grass texture and tiled it on my desktop, to see how well it would seamlessly tile. It doesn't, which is really not wise with textures like gravel dirt or grass, etc.

I fixed it though if you want it back, Vthokie4me. Your free grass texture is now a tileable seamles grass texture, that can be tiled to whatever size one would need.

You can have it back with the fix applied and no credit or compensation is due me. except one favor: put a saleable price on it, No longer free grass.

Give me your e-mial and I will send the tile jpg back to you?

Interesting, but hypercam is a screen capture utility. Thus, you cannot "render" anything like you could with a commercial 3D program.
