Our client is the leader in revolutionary entertainment for mobile phones. Their US office is based in Orange County, 5 minutes from some of the best beaches in California. They are looking for an experienced programmer to be responsible for porting 2D and 3D titles to target handsets and help in the creation of future games.

Key responsibilities include:
·Rapid and high-quality porting of any title to selected BREW & J2ME target handsets (both 2D and 3D)
·Close collaboration with production and testing teams to ensure the highest level of quality.
·Liaise with external and internal testing houses to understand, reproduce and fix problems.
·Work with mobile phone operators on reporting and fixing handset issues that affect deployment of games.
·Assessment of synergies between handsets to minimize porting effort.

Key Skills required:
·Minimum of 2 years in Java and/or BREW programming.
·Experience in either programming for J2ME platform or True BREW testing is plus.
·C/C++ programming for mobile devices
·Several years experience in software, and more importantly, computer, console or mobile games development.
·Ability to cope with pressure.
·Self-starter, proactive individual ready for a challenge!

Other Desirable Skills:
·Good understanding of the mobile industry.
·Good knowledge of mobile device limitations.
