Hallo Matt....i´m pleased to enjoy this forum. Creating and manipolating video-audio datas its fun! And requires lots of patiance, much time and the right tools ;-] ...therefor I would like to exchange few knowledge about "how to" and "for what" use this wonderfull tool wich is combustion....Don´t know it very much - like technically - but I know the basic function, use it almoust every day, for work-fun expiriences....Hope someone will join and replay in this forum:

file corrupted & codec not installed: is it possible to "install" codec in combst? Does combst use allready installed codecs?

e.g.: AVI format - compressed or uncompressd, can be read from other browser or "video software" on my PC. for watching or editing, but from combst no!

Do someone has a clue, why combst is not "eating" this footage?!

Take care and thanx for answering....

c u later....

Hi harlak,

I'm not quite sure how to solve your problem. It is unusual that you can watch the AVI in Windows Media but not in Combustion. I would recommend you post your problem again at this forum here: http://forums.creativecow.net/cgi-bin/new_view_posts.cgi?forumid=14

It's a very active forum, and you will get an answer very quickly. You might want to bookmark this forum in your browser, as I have found it to be the best online forum for Combustion.

Good luck.
