3D Rendering & Animation Estimate Needed
Posted 24-Apr-2005 12:24 AM

Hello everyone, I'm a new member of Turbo Squid, which is an awesome site by the way, featuring some exceptional work. My background is in City Planning/3D Model Building/Architectural Drafting, so this is my offical forum intro ...
I need an estimate, for a series of 3D images and 2 30 sec. animation paths for a community center.
The project entails a 30,000 SQ ft, 4 story mixed use building, with retail shops at the ground level and offices/apartments on the floors above. There will be 2-5 exterior 3D renderings, and 2-5 interior renderings, that will best illustrate the building in relation to the surrounding context (parking lot, cars, trees, pedestrians etc) and fully furnished interiors respectively.
There may also be a animation presentation with a 30 second exterior path, and a 30 second interior path, so could you please separate the pricing of the Stills and the Animations ...

For more info please contact me at CG_alchemy@hotmail.com

*The bids will close on Wednesday, the 27th of April 2005 (this wednesday)...

*Could you please include in your reply: 2 sample images of your work, and 1 short animation, in addition to your turn around time, individual still rates, photo retouching rates, and any other relavant materials that you may require to model, render, and animate the project ... thanks you for your time and consideration ... Hope to hear from you soon.

RE: 3D Rendering & Animation Estimate Needed

Hello everyone, thank you for your responses. The quality of work has been simply exceptional ... The floorplans and elevations are currently being amended, so there is still plenty of time, and bidding will remain open until wednesday of next week. I have received 4 quotes(20 stills/and 9 animations) for our next meeting. The deciding factor will be the quality of the designers work, a consistent and reliable body of work, and a rough price range will be helpful (I don't expect an exact quote until you review the cad files) ... thank you for your time and patience, and feel free to contact me at cg_alchemy@hotmail.com
