I had problems with the regiestration until i read the guys post who said change the date.
Lmao. I just changed the date of my comp and it worked. xD

I can't post my registration code. The message box pops up asking me to register. I did that but there is no place for me to paste my registration code. Why not?

Muad, does that popup have in it :
- a link to register
- buttons ? if so, which ones
If you could post a screenshot of it it would surely help others having the same problem.

Ok Im not really sure what to do... i read alll the replies in this thread and i still dont have my regstartion code....
1. I downloaded the program and did all that
2. I downloaded tutorials and all that
3. I recived my email ( i know it doesnt have the code in it)
4. Now when you said go to registartion support to see my code it came up with this

Alright im posting again and i check my email and its not in the inbox so i looked on this website and it said to check in junk mail i did and there wasnt anything in it so my registration code did not arrive so can someone help me?

I found what the problem is. They removed the page that we used to get the registration directly.
But wait, they simply put the link elsewhere.
1) go to : http://www.turbosquid.com/support
2) on the right side menu, you will see a GMAX section with a link about registration problems. Just click it and VOILA !!!!

If it is something like below, then No.
- hosting GMAX or any files on different site then Turbosquid
- hosting GMAX registration code or any means to distribute it from elsewhere then Turbosquid

right side? well it's empty... I got something called Registration Issue but it's on the left side
it will then take me to a page with this message:

"VOILA?" none of the links will give me any code and I don't feel like filling in that form
edit: nvm the workaround fixed it

I installed and registered GMax quite some time ago. Now that I am ready to learn how to do 3D modeling, when I launch Siege Max (Dungeon Siege) it says my registration is no longer valid. How do I obtain a new registration code?
Edit: Problem resolved. When I tried again, it let me in.

Hi,
I have some problem with the innstalation of Gmax. Can you please help me?
I have registered and I have got all the files. When I run the istallation file (gmax12) the Winzip Self Extractor opens. I click setup on it and the installation wizard opens. It says: "It is strongly recommended that you exit...(blablabla)...will be prosecuted to the maximum extent possibel under law."
I click the next button in the wizard and get the message "MSI1CF" wich says: "Registry key not found.". I click OK on the message and then I get a new message wich tells me it is an error with the installer(error 1772). I click OK and the wizard exits and i get a new message "Fatal error". It says: "Installation ended prematurely because of an error". I click OK on that one too and the Winzip exits too.
Please help me.

Somehow, I do not think you actualy have a valid GMAX installation. To my knowledge, GMAX will not even mention prosecutions (but it has been a while since I did an installation).
Where did you get GMAX from ?
What is your PC configuration, windows, logon rights, ... ?

Hi there.
I had got Gmax running before when I had first registerd but that was when I was running on my bros
E-mail address and I think that he had lost it and then when I wanted to reinstall it the code wasn't there.
I also fear that the new registration code wasn't going to be sent to my new address (xxxxxxxxxxxxxx) because you haven't heard of it until now.
Could you resend it to my new E-mail?

Ben, you simply have to go to THIS turbosquid page and it WILL give you a new registration key right there. Also, as advice, never put your email adress in ANY forums. Unless you do not mind receving tons of spam emails |

dfogk, this thread isn't about you telling us your PC configuration or that you didn't received your registration, it is about giving you suggestions to check out if you didn't receive your registration code. If after doing ALL the suggestions you still didn't get it, then you can ask for our help.
Judging from your message, it looks like you didn't tried any suggestions at all.

thats just stupid i clicked and it gave me the same f-....-.-.king one.....grrrrrrrrr im getting frustrated im still waiting for the e-mail message with a new code , i read the whole forum and all the messages, but it doesnt gettttt it..... grrrr im getting full up with this!!!!!!!!!!

Be aware that these forums do not have people constantly monitoring for new messages to reply to within 5 min. Most of the times, you should expect an answer to any question within 1-3 days.
