3d modeler needed
Posted 01-Aug-2004 6:59 PM

sry if i put this in the wrong place.

anyway, im looking for a 3d modeler who is able to work for no payment, and is very good at making them.

its for a mmorpg which i have planned out and though of all ideas to make it run successfully.

you will get paid eventually, if you wrok along and we can make special offers for players, which means paying with real cash into paypal, to pay those who work.

not only this game but an other great game i have started to make but it needs better visuals, it looks like doom, but i want it fully 3d, and i will sell it, and you will recieve payment on behalf of your help.

To guy who posted above. nice work, with some good textures those would look awsome. And to topic starter, i was wondering if you were looking for low poly models or high poly models. The reason why is, its hella-hard to model realistic looking faces, and then after that texture them.
but if you look at other low poly games, like the original unreal tournament, they still look good.

oh and also, ive been using 3ds max, 3, 4 and 5 for about 4 years now, and i can make spme pretty good low poly chars. im no good with inatimate(SP?) objects, such as the poster above is, and im trying to also learn how to texture shade with paintshop 7.

On i side note, i know how to animate bones, and learning quickly how to connect the bones the the model, without getting that crapping split in the models joints.

Ok, thats about all the info i can think of posting. il bookmark this page and see if you post again.

PS: do you know coding for games? (EX. VB C,C++) hope so cuz i cant lol

been sometime since i've been here.

i have started the full desgin on that mmorpg, with the feedback i get it sounds all clear for the go ahead. its set in the future, aliens invasion... find out on the main site at a later date.

this game will rock believe me, i can supply you with textures, i got 100s of them. it will e called genesis-online. you may htink its used, but i dont think it is, it just sounds like a nme that would be given to a commo mmorpg, great :D!

i piece the full game togther, i do a bit of coding along with someone else, the online function works, and now it needs revamped with full 3d's and a real atmosphere.

contact me via e-mail: ahe400@hotmail.com

the site will be with ultra-net and have its own domain name all for free. because i kick ass.

Its that whole no pay thing.  I specialize in gaming models.  I understand that pay might not come until later but I require a deposit before hand $25.00 per model or $0.25 per polygon.
