GMAX by itself, cannot export directly to BF2. But using a custom maxcript export plugin,you might.
I am not sure if the same plugin used for BF1942 can do the same for BF2.
You might ask my dear old friend DFast working now on the BF2 MOD Point Of Existance 2 (POE2). He started by learning GMAX and coming here often and that lead him to a BF1942 MOD which eventualy led him to a BF2 MOD. He might answer you what he is using for BF2 now.
