Hi People. Hope you can give me some advice!

I bought Trainz, installed the Asset Creation Studio, then gmax, had trouble registering gmax, think it was ver.1.0 so i downloaded and installed ver.1.2, now gmax loads ok, but when staring the Trainz asset creation studio, it says that "no plug-in directory found:3DSMAX" and so fails to start. Please can anyone help me?

its probably just a case of needing to check to see if auran(?) has updated there creation studio gamepack.

cuz the original was built around gmax 1.0 it probably won't work w/ 1.2

Sunrunner, if you did indeed install in the order you posted then you will have to re-install the Asset Creation Studio. The ACS is an add-on to gmax so must be installed after you install gmax.

The ACS is just a small thingie to tell gmax to export its files in Trainz readable formats.
