Created Objects - Texture Problem

I have been trying to get my GMAX objects to work in Trainz Surveyor for some time now. I have followed ALL the available tutorials (inc. Gary's) very carefully, with respect to naming folders/files, et. But everytime the object (eg simple cube) does not show its texture (white) in the objects panel? I am unable to add the object to the scene, either? I am completely stuck, and I have almost given up trying to get objects to work in Surveyor. All default and downloaded objects show up and place OK.

I'm still trying to crack Gmax myself.
The major pain in the ass is texturing.
There appaers to be at least 2-3 different ways of accomplishing the same result.
Since it is a texture problem you have make sure that you .bmp and .tga files are in dims of 32x32,64X64,128x64 etc. also I suggest using .bmps
to start with. make sure the texture config files
have the same filetype in them.

AS Daemondex said, make sure your file size is correct. Also, make sure if using a tga file that it is "un-compressed."
