It is a Zbrush (or Mudbox) ready male torso model.
You can subdivide that, as you wish.
For example:

Base model: 1064 polygons
div. 1: 8392 polygons
div. 2. : 33568 polygons
etc...

The model has quad faces, only the stumpy ends has got triangles (for closing the model).
The model rendered with vray, 'torso_vray.max' file includes all shaders, HDR, materials.
Other files only have base model (just torso, no table, no cloth), without stumpy ends, so all faces are quad-faces. You can subdivide the model, if you want to, of course.
