Modeled in Blender. The 3ds, fbx, obj formats are saved as 3 separate objects (Body, Lid and Latch) so the model would be easy to rig in other software.
The 'reflections' are baked to the texture. Product thumbs rendered in Blender (1 sun lamp and Ambient Occlusion) with only diffuse and specular settings active.
