| These particular waterfalls have been especially designed so that their water surfaces are highly detailed. You need only apply only the most simple, clear water material or shader to these objects to obtain a realistic waterfall. The three waterfalls are alternatives to each other. Each is a physically accurate model of a stream of falling water with identical velocity, water volume, gravitational pull, starting point and other other physical properties, but each falls a different vertical distance before impacting the ground or a lower water body. Although these waterfalls are alternatives to each other, they can be arranged in a scene so that one cascades into another. To this end, the shortest waterfall has been made to have a slightly tilted splash foot to faciliate the appearence of an upper waterfall that might be cascading into a rock basin or into a lower waterfall. The fourth object has two parts: it has a splash body component and an outer surface bubble component. The surface bubbles are those which would appear in a body of water at the outermost impact area. You may position this optional splash object at the foot of any of the waterfalls to give added realism or drama to your scene. |
