the viking shield rar file contains textures and max 2009 file also provided separately is a 3ds file,these shields were typical of vikings but the basic geometric design was the same as that of other shields designs spread thought Europe,so with a little modification of the texture file you can create shields of any culture or nation of the time.
The shield has high res textures so it is also suitable for close up renders.
the shield uses standard materials so it can be rendered using any renderer,the images shown here were rendered using v ray.
