classic flying saucer ufo 3d model - Classic Flying Saucer UFO by Justinger

This is a model of a classic flying saucer UFO. It is based off of stories of accounts as well as alleged photographs by a man named Billy Meiers. Attention was given to the curvature of the surface, and it smooths quite well. All pieces have UVs layed out. There is a seamless in-flight model as well as one with landing gear. I have included a zip file of the animation of the landing gear lowering in .ma, .mb and .fbx file formats. Also included is an animated .mb file that has the mental ray shaders I used in the test renders. The model itself is named cleanly and grouped well. Animating it is rather simple. The top section has a row of windows and antennae, and the bottom has landing gears, complete with hinge and glowing light around the porthole.
