This is a detailed yet relatively low-poly 3d model of the prestigious Steinway Model D Concert Grand Piano. This model includes the scene, but the lighting only comes with the Blender file. This is by far the highest quality full grand piano model for this price and is the only one with few enough polygons for reasonable render times. It includes all components that would be visible viewing a piano externally, but not internal mechanisms like hammers. The strings were simplified to save on polygons, but if necessary they can be easily duplicated. The cast iron plate is very accurate and even has the textured felt trimmings as visible in the thumbnails. When reflection is added, the renders can approach photorealism with relatively few polygons. The components are very easy to animate, and were used in an animation. This model was used on the stage of a 3d model of a concert hall for a 3d vizualization competition. The keys can be moved individually.
