in max version there are two choices - large files with thousands of instanced detailed seat models - which allows you to do some changes, but comes with really bad performance
the second chioce are low detailed seats collapsed into few instanced blocks, which brings great performance but really less chance to change something
in other formats, there are only simple low detailed seats - it will be impossible to handle thousands of detailed seats in OBJ etc...
