soviet pavilion paris exposition max - USSR Pavilion, Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, Paris, 1925 by Urbimage

This is my reconstruction of the famous Soviet pavilion at the Paris Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes. It was designed and built in 1925 by Kostantin Melnikov, one of pioneers of the moderne architecture. The wooden pavilion, employing a combination of single-sloped roofs of different sizes, was completed in less than a month, employing not more than 10 workers.
The reconstruction was been made after drafts of the Pavillion published by Selim O.Khan-Magomedov, main rechearcher of the Russian constructivism.
Melnikov used the monochrome colors, and for this reason, I didn’t use any texture. The rendering is made with Mental ray renderer.
