Shenyang J15 'Flying Shark' naval fighter aircraft of the Chinese PLAN-AF (copy of the Russian Su33 FlankerD, with local engines/avionics). This is the aircraft which will equip the first generation of Chinese carriers.

The J15 Flying Shark is a Chinese copy (with local avionics and engines) of the Russian Su33 FlankerD (first known as the Su27K). It is a carrier capable multi-role fighter, equipped with canard fore-planes, as well as many other advanced aerodynamic features. The J15 is intended to deploy aboard the 'Liaoning' - the first Chinese fixed wing aircraft carrier. It is built by the Shenyang Aircraft Corporation.
