Highly detailed and realistic residential pedestal style sink and faucet, such as might be found in an upscale bathroom. All dimensions and proportions are based on real-world designs, and are constructed in a manner that relies on the modeler's many years of experience in industrial design and product visualization. All objects are placed in logical layers and groups, with individual objects/parts clearly and logically named.
Scene setup created in 3DS Max 2016, also exported to Max 2013 and a variety of other formats. The scene materials and lighting uses 3DS Max's built-in version of Mental Ray. It is lit realistically with optimized Global Illumination as well as two area spot lights and HDRI environment mapping. Hi-res materials mapping are included and along with the environmental HDRI map.
Lastly, all objects retain their full 3DS Max 'stack' topology, and so everything from an object's polygon count to the shape of it's profile can be changed or adjusted with ease. The scene as rendered is high polygon, but almost all the object's density may be easily reduced for those that need a low-poly solution.
