At the end of July 1944, the pilot, adventurer and writer, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, didn't return from his last reconnaissance flight for the Allied armed forces. He was already famous for his book 'The Little Prince', but his mysterious disappearance turned him into a legend. this 3D set represents the recon aircraft based on a P38 lightning that antoine de saint éxupery has done his very last flight with. the scene is set up as a fully animated start sequence, with neutral background sky on a grass, natural improvised airfield. as the background has been liveshooting, the setup is optimized to this camera angle. the textures within are hi res, due to the possible renderoutput to film or HD. mid-fuselage, texturing, painting and national emblems are french. the airplane with integrated camera windows in its nose, has been located and used for unarmed recon-missions, ie. from an american airfield at corse, france in 1944. simple hangar buildings, supplement buildings and a tower are framing the scene. the lighting and shading setup is based on Vray, with full camera motion blur.
