Futuristic model of fighter spacecraft, The Hawk was Earth's first purpose-designed space-superiority fighter craft.Powered by a massive fusion engine with 2 smaller booster units, the Hawk was the fastest Terran ship of its time. The nozzles of the booster engines were angled outwards to enhance turning performance. There is also a battery of chemical maneuvering jets and lift jets under the fuselage. Most of the long fuselage was occupied by fuel cells, giving the Hawk impressive range for a small ship of its era.
