Description
High Detailed Photorealistic Mexican Redknee Tarantula; UVunwrapped and smoothable, made with Maya. Shave and a haircut for hair.


This model has a clean geometry based on quads and loops.
(Ready to render exactly as you see above - maya versions)

- legs are made by pieces ; each part is parented and pivoted for easy movements.

The Maya 2011 formats are set with the '3' hotkey for the geometry approximation preview and render.
Obj version is directly exported from Maya with textures assigned (.mtl file)
FBX versions is directly exported from Maya with texture assigned

SHAVE AND A HAIRCUT NOTE:
You would need Shave and A Haircut for Maya 2011 in order to render the subtle/tiny hair, otherwise you would be able to render only the main polygon hair (product ID 712027)
For an even better render quality you can increase the hair primitives count up to your machine memory limit.
The actual rendering time is about 2 minute for an HD rendering 1200x1200 frame (rendered on a system based on a single Pentium Quadcore with 8GB RAM)
--8 different hair systems for a total of about 315k hair prims.
The .fbx and .obj formats don't include the Shave and Haircut Fur, but are included hair curves created by hair primitives (Maya 2011 .ma) so you can use them as guides if you' re using a different Fur/Hair plugin.
*Please always use an updated Shave and a haircut release to avoid rendering issues.
The model is provided in the standard T-pose
