Accurate 3d scan of a bust sculpture of Lenin. The actual object represented herein is a plaster sculpture covered in bronze paint. Although a rather high quality example of communist artwork, lively achieving the likeness of Lenin himself, it would seem this was budget-sculpture, most likely used to decorate a school or a kindergarten during the communist era. The actual sculpture has been damaged as seen on the images (some chipping paint on the head and the back of the sculpture, a crack on the back of the head). It would need to undergo a digital restoration, or it could be used as-is, if desired. The model has been optimized using a high quality delaunay triangulation method, minimizing collapsed triangles. The mesh has varying vertex density, corresponding to mesh detail (the mesh would need to be retopologized, in order to be sculpted in ZBrush or Mudbox).

The zip package contains:

    * Decimated all-triangular mesh (557k tris) with non-overlapping UVs.
    * A 4096x4096 diffuse texture reconstructed from photos. The images includes an alpha channel for the UV patches with a padding of 64 pixels.

The object has been aligned (the base of object has been used for alignment, character face is off- alignment due to the nature of the actual object).
