GAZ-AA ''Polutorka'' was most widely spreading Soviet cargo truck in WWII. First produced in 1932 as a licensed copy of American ''F o r d - A A'' truck, it had numerous modifications and was main workhorse in early USSR. Adopted for Russian conditions, it was used from first to last days of WWII and got a legendary status after siege of Leningrad, when the trucks loading with provisions ran through siege line to staring citizens, saving human lives.
