The car roof is intentionally slanted for naturalism, but it has few vertices so it can be straightened or crooked other way with ease.
The OBJ format is in low poly mode for you to easily texture it or animate. You can convert it into high-poly with any subdivision tool (Meshsmooth, Maya smooth, HyoerNurbs, etc.)
