max western maps - 3D map of Western US by documentarian

The relief is based on displacement map that you'll get as a download. The ground cover is based on Satellite image of 1KM per pixel resolution.
You can achieve higher or lower vertical exaggeration based on the amount of the displacement modifier. Different ground covers can be applied, but they are not supplied here.
A great way to spice up the boring 2D maps. Lit from the side the shades give it a lot of depth. (Light is not provided.)
Underwater elevation is also supplied. If not needed you can ad an intersecting plane to simulate water surface.
