| Star Wars AT-PT Hybrid model. This model is my first attempt at creating something along the popular sci-fi genre. Model specs: This model represents a hybrid Imperial-type walker. The reason I say hybrid is that I originally used the plans from a book I purchased and decided to add a bit to it. I made it a bit 'Fatter' to allow for a second crew member. I tried to imagine a real life situation with those crewmembers. They would probably decorate their vehicle with some type of unit symbol or logo in addition to other regiment markings, They would also have gear or storage containers on it. My main inspiration came from WWII tanks and other period hardware. At around 18,000 faces, it isn't really suited for low poly gaming, but it can be used for cut scenes or full animation. With a little bit of optimization though, it can be game ready. Mainly by removing the 'Netting' object, saves you a bundle! Also included is a .ma file for Maya users prior to version 8.5, a .mb file for Maya 8.5 users, and a .fbx (Filmbox) file for those wishing to convert to other formats. This file is perfect for anyone making a fan film or animation. Textures: I have included the complete set of template files for you to load and edit. Most of the templates are 1024x1024 in size, the main chassis, however is four times that size! (2048x2048). They are .jpg compressed images, but since you are only going to use them as guides for texturing, that's not a problem. Each major piece has been unwrapped for you, all you need to do is start adding your own custom textures! NOTE: Due to Turbosquid's max file size of 20mb, I am not able to include the set of textures used on the vehicle in the preview images, Sorry! :-( This is a professionally produced product. |
