Photorealistic scenes of lake with mountains - 2 versions
This scene is for professionals who need high quality complex
solution, not simple landscape for long distance shots.
This is no simple plane + discplacement. Terrains were modeled manually to avoid unnecessary polygons.
There is also no need to use displacements material effect, because of that scene render very fast and is suitable
for hi-res animations (check preview videos).
Scene is built using 2 detailed models of terrain. Each model textured by own texture - 8000x8000px.
Whole scene with 9 copys of 2 basic terrains plus bonus model have only 1113725 polygons.
Scene comes in 2 versions - snowy and spring
There are two versions of textures - snowy and spring. Scenes are prepared for Vray and for MentalRay. So there are 4 max files.
Vray offer a lot better render quality, Mental Ray - very realistic animated water (check video preview).
Mental Ray is also the best for animations with moving objects.
For both versions prepared skydome with big texture 5500x3666px. Included in scene.
In MentalRay scenes trees are included but not scattered.
All materials, lights, render setups are ready!
Scene is ready to use. All is set. Mental Ray version have standard materials and lights.
Therefore in fact you can render it with any third party plugin renderer you want.
Objects arranged on layers, well named, materials well ordered. Easy to work with, no mess inside.
Obj. and FBX versions has no lights of course. However textures coordinates works correctly, skydome is also included, just import to your favourite application, put light and render. Trees are not scattered in exported version because these are proxy objects.
