| * 3DS FILE - By default, .3ds consists of triangles, so converting the mesh to polygons through the modeling application should get rid of most of them. .3ds also does not store materials, so materials and textures will have to be assigned. Mapping coordinates should be fine. * OBJ FILE - Once again, the mesh should be converted to polygons. Most materials should work from the .mtl external library included. Some materials will have to be made/adjusted and assigned, such as body and rims and those with alpha channel textures. Mapping coordinates should be fine. * If any problems persist, please contact TurboSquid to convert the .max file to whatever filetype required. * Note that the poly and vert counts are without Meshsmooth. This is a paintscheme-ready model of the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Dodge Charger COT racecar. The model was created entirely within 3DS Max 2009 and rendered within it as well. The package comes with a completely layered 2048x2048 template for easy paint scheme production. There is no chassis and the interior is fairly simple and should not be a focal point of renders.
I have included a .txt file showing what textures and materials are assigned to each object if needed. Please view the larger preview images for detail. |
