The surfaces are all nurbs including trims, extursions, fillets, and other Alias Studio standard stuff. It was built in this more complicated fashion exclusively for the purpose of milling a physical model using FDM or any other 3D printing method. You can take models like this to a service and they will send you back a real bottle made of wax or other materials, or you can get one of these units for home as they get cheaper every year. The shader shown here is merely a reflection of lines to show off how the model is shaped. The best part of the model is the vanishing spiral in the handle
