Description
This is a 3d model of a 1964 Chevrolet Corvair Rampside. It's primary destination is for in game use.

The asset contains:

1. High resolution model for the exterior parts and the 4 wheels:
        -Poly count: 935,000 triangles with two levels of MeshSmooth.
        -Basic materials.
        -Used for normal map generation.
2. Low resolution (in game) geometry:
        -Poly count: 6972 triangles / 4025 vertices (excluding base stand)
        -Interior and undercarriage modeled.
        -Basic materials with linked textures.
3. Textures.

Note: All textures are provided in both .tga and .psd version for easy editing. Color change is possible by modifying the PSD color fill layers.

_dm : diffuse map
_sm : specular map
_nm : normal map
_rm : reflection map


Body, 2048x2048:
        
Diffuse map: detailed texture of the pristine model, very little weathering.
Normal map: generated from the high resolution model with added details from the diffuse map.
Specular map: detailed colored specular map. Recommendation: set the car paint specular texture to be complementary to the diffuse texture to obtain a nice metallic effect.
Reflection map: simple mask-like map with the reflection values of different parts of the car's body. Can be used to vary the intensity of the environment reflection map (see screenshots)


Wheel, 512x512:

        -Maya .ma file;
        -Will open in any Maya version after 7.0;
        -Please ignore the error message when importing. The asset does not contain any advanced nodes and will import ok.
3.ChevroletCorvairRampside.fbx
        -fbx file exported from Maya;
        -format version is FBX200508_MB70 for compatibility with older importers/exporters;
        -should open in most 3d applications that feature .fbx importers;
        -the high-resolution mesh requires a smooth/subdivision modifier to be applied;
        -the textures might need reopening.
4.ChevroletCorvairRampside.max
        -basic Max 9 scene;
        -materials have been loaded in Material Editor;
        -high resolution mesh has MeshSmooth applied;
        -high and low resolution models set up on two different display layers.
