General Information:
The M31 shotgun was the mainstay of many police departments from 1960 to 2000. A number of M31s were returned and refitted with a collapsible stock, shorter barrel and longer magazine tube. Retrofitted M31s continued their service lives as either compact car units or SWAT entry units. The folding stock and short barrel are perfect for room clearance and undercover work, as the shotgun's weight is greatly reduced, without sacrificing handling or ballistic characteristics.
