kaneda akira 3d model - Akira Laser by Lone Wolf

My take on the Particle Cannon Kaneda used at the end of the anime movie “Akira”. I used refs from the anime movie, the manga and the Kaneda action figure made by McFarlen toys. Since each one of these renditions is basically the same with only slight differences I kept all of the basic features and mixed and matched the details based on what would physically fit and what looked good. The gun, power unit and cable are all separate elements as well as the straps for the both the Cannon and the power unit. I have added a larger render of the entire assembly so the small details (such at the links in the power cable) can be seen easily. Anyway, this was a quick Saturday project and I am happy with it.
